Diclofenac Sodium EC contains the active ingredient diclofenac sodium, which is a type of medicine called a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). All the medicines in the NSAID group reduce inflammation caused by the body\'s own immune system and are effective painkillers. Diclofenac Sodium EC works by blocking the action of a substance in the body called cyclo-oxygenase. Cyclo-oxygenase is involved in the production of various chemicals in the body, some of which are known as prostaglandins. The body in response to injury and certain diseases produces prostaglandins and they go on to cause the pain, swelling and inflammation of these conditions. Arthritic conditions are one example of this. As Diclofenac Sodium EC ss the body producing these inflammatory prostaglandins, it relieves the associated pain and inflammation. Diclofenac Sodium EC is used to relieve pain and inflammation in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis, gout, sprains, fractures, dislocations, back pain, tendinitis and frozen shoulder. Diclofenac Sodium EC is also used to relieve pain and inflammation following dental, orthopaedic (bone) and other minor surgery. SIDE EFFECTS: See also the Warning section. swelling, weight gain, feeling short of breath;Although it is safest to avoid all medications if breastfeeding, this is not always feasible. Therefore, to avoid unwanted side effects in the breastfeeding infant, medications should be used at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration. Generally, the same medications used during pregnancy can be continued after delivery and while breastfeeding. An exception is aspirin which may cause bleeding problems and Reye's syndrome in the nursing baby and should therefore be avoided. Mothers who must take medications should also consider not breastfeeding.Risperdal 4mg
